This month, we celebrate the professionals who help children and youth share their stories, express their needs, and build meaningful relationships. Speech‑Language Pathology Month is a reminder of how essential communication is, verbal and non-verbal, and how life‑changing it can be when a child receives the support they need. Thank you to all our SLPs and CDAs who bring patience, skill, and heart to all that they do!
McHappy Day reminds us how powerful communities can be. When we come together, we help local organizations, like North Bay Regional Health Care Centre and One Kids Place, we can continue the work that lifts families up during some of their toughest moments. Thank you for supporting a cause that keeps care, compassion, and connection close to home and for helping make a difference. Join One Kids Place at the Lakeshore Drive location in North Bay on May 6th....we look forward to seeing you!

It's time for our annual Gourmet Burger Lunch fundraiser. Catered by our friends at Churchill's Restaurant, we invite our community to come out and have lunch with us. $30 per meal; choice of burger, side salad and chips included. Take out available but we would hope you would join us at 400 McKeown Ave, in our Jack Lyons Playground.
The popular Golf for Kids event will be Mon June 15th at North Bay Goilf & Country Club. Registration and lunch starts at 11AM, shotgun start at 12noon. Dinner and festivities at 6PM. Age Group: 12 to 18 years old This week, campers will participate in hands‑on activities designed to strengthen essential life skills such as meal preparation, money management, and workplace readiness. We are excited to welcome special guests to enrich these learning experiences including NoahStrong, YES Employment and local first responders.
Age Group: 6 to 11 years old Let the games begin! Throughout the week, campers will participate in activities designed to promote sportsmanship, fair play, and exposure to a variety of sports and games. The focus is on physical activity, teamwork, and creating opportunities for campers to bond and grow together.
High Needs Age Group: 6 to 11 years old Campers will enjoy a variety of sports and games that encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive social interaction. Our goal is to help children stay active, build friendships, and feel proud of their accomplishments. This camp group is designed for children who need a bit more support. With one‑to‑one attention from our dedicated staff, each camper is given the space, reassurance, and guidance they need to participate comfortably & confidently.
