Behaviour Services

One Kids Place Behaviour Services are tailored and individualized to meet your child’s needs.

Every behaviour service begins with a goal setting session where you will meet with your Behaviour Therapist to develop a personalized therapy plan.

The One Kids Place Autism Services team will provide a uniquely multidisciplinary approach to meet the individual needs of your child and your family.

The One Kids Place Autism Services Team includes a Psychological Associate, Behaviour Analysts, Behaviour Therapists as well as Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Pathologists.

Assessment

During your assessment, your Behaviour Therapist will work collaboratively with you and your team to learn more about your child’s strengths and needs. Following your assessment, recommendations will be provided to help guide your treatment plan. You and your child are now ready to begin therapy services!

Intervention

To reach your goal, your Behaviour Therapist will develop a plan using evidence based strategies that will be used to support your child. Your Behaviour Therapist can work directly with your child, provide you with coaching on how you can implement the individualized plan, or a combination of both. Most importantly, your Behaviour Therapist will be with you every step of the way to monitor your child’s progress, provide you with training and encouragement and make modifications to the therapy plan as needed.

All Behaviour Therapy services are overseen by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) or a Certified Psychological Associate. Services can be provided in the family home, OKP centre, schools and daycares within the community, or virtually.
