Behaviour Services

Behaviour support is about creating positive individualized strategies for children and youth that are engaging in challenging behaviours or require support to learn new skills.

Challenging behaviours are defined as any behaviour that puts them or those around them at risk. These behaviours can also impact a child’s ability to engage in everyday activities.

  • Does your child need support to learn new skills?
  • Does your child have difficulties communicating their feelings, wants and needs?
  • Are challenging behaviours impacting your child’s learning?

We know that parents/caregivers spend the most time with their children.

One Kids Place Behaviour Services are tailored and individualized to meet your child’s needs.

Behaviour Services

Behaviour Services can assist your child:

  • Increase independence
  • Teach daily living skills
  • Support effective communication
  • Replace challenging behaviours
  • Promote social skills
  • And more.

Our One Kids Place team uses a family-centered approach to teach skills and strategies that improve daily family life. Every Behaviour Service begins with a goal setting session where you will meet with your Behaviour Therapist to develop a personalized therapy plan.
