February is National Therapeutic Recreation Month. Therapeutic Recreation is a service that supports children, youth and their families to access, enjoy and fully participate in leisure activities while increasing independence. One Kids Place offers treatment, education and recreation participation to enable children and youth with physical, cognitive, emotional and/or social limitations to acquire and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The 2nd Annual Ride for Jack is back! This fundraising event, being organized by North Bay Mountain Bike Association, is in support of the Autism Services Program at One Kids Place and is held in memory of our friend Jack Lyons.
