Welcome to One Kids Place Children’s Treatment Centre.  We are excited to be part of this community and are looking forward to working on enhancing the lives of children and their families.  This website will give you an overview of One Kids Place services as well as provide other valuable information to assist children, youth and parents.

One Kids Place offers a range of services to help children, youth and their families with physical, developmental and communication delays and disabilities.  Services, based on principles of best practices, vary depending on the needs of the child, their age and possible diagnosis.  Services will be individualized to meet each child’s needs.  Our team is committed to updating their skills and knowledge to work together with children, youth and their families to achieve their full potential. 

Services are provided as much as possible in the child’s natural environment: home, daycare, school and community facilities. Services can also be provided at One Kids Place.

Parents and families play a pivotal role in their child’s development. Therapy is a team effort and depends on parental involvement. Therapists welcome questions and comments and strive to work together with families to assist them in identifying meaningful goals and creating strategies to facilitate individualized programming.

INTERESTING FACT
The One Kids Place logo uses a colourful pinwheel to symbolize the vibrancy, innocence, and ever-changing nature of youth.   The pinwheel is a young and energetic symbol that is full of motion, colour and vibrancy of life and is meant to serve as both an inspiration and a reminder of what it is to be a child. The logo and its rationale were developed by TWG Communications.
